Use Dragons for Storytelling & Creative Writing

dragon-sketchIf you’re looking for ways to connect these colouring pages to more creative activities for children, why not try using them as story prompts?

After colouring, simply ask children to name their dragon and make up a short story about them.  You could ask helpful questions such as “What magical land does your dragon come from?” or “What adventure does your dragon go on today?”

If you’re dealing with different age groups, older children could write stories themselves, while younger ones could dictate their tale for someone to write down.
